The 2025 NFL Draft is now over, and the Las Vegas Raiders selected 11 players to be on their team.

Overall, it was a nice haul for the Raiders. The team addressed the biggest areas of need remaining and added at least a couple of players who should immediately play large roles for the team as rookies.

In the first round, the team added star running back Ashton Jeanty, who was the best running back in this class and should transform a Raiders ground game that was non-existent in 2024.

In the second round, the team added talented TCU wide receiver Jack Bech. Bech is a solid route-runner with reliable hands who will join Jakobi Meyers and Brock Bowers in a solid receiving corps.

Elsewhere, the team added some interesting players who could eventually take over large roles, like cornerback Darien Porter, wide receiver Dont'e Thornton, and offensive lineman Charles Grant.

Now, with free agency and the draft behind us, let's take a look at what the final roster could end up looking like. Of course, much will change between now and Week One, but it's worth looking at how the roster currently stands.

Raiders 53-man roster projection

Quarterbacks (3): Geno Smith, Aidan O'Connell, Cam Miller

It was a bit surprising to see the Raiders not take a developmental quarterback prospect earlier than the sixth round. Still, it wouldn't be surprising to see Miller kept around on the roster to learn behind Smith and O'Connell.

It's possible the team could add a more proven veteran and keep Miller on the practice squad, but for now, we'll assume the North Dakota State product impresses.

Running backs (4): Ashton Jeanty, Raheem Mostert, Sincere McCormick, Zamir White

Jeanty immediately transforms this room and gives the Raiders a reliable workhorse. Mostert was brought in to be a veteran change-of-pace back and is a solid running mate for Jeanty.

White and McCormick were both on the team in 2024, and for now, we'll assume that duo sticks around, albeit in smaller roles.

Wide receivers (6): Jakobi Meyers, Jack Bech, Tre Tucker, Dont'e Thornton, Tommy Mellott, Kyle Philips

Meyers, Bech, Tucker, and Thornton are probably the only locks. Mellott is another rookie who could probably stick on the roster, but it will come down to how he looks this summer and transitions to wide receiver.

The final spot goes to shifty slot receiver Kyle Philips for now, but it's far from set in stone. Expect the team to add another veteran before the season begins.

TE (3): Brock Bowers, Michael Mayer, Ian Thomas

Mayer has been floated as a trade candidate this offseason, but having depth is never a bad thing. Thomas is a solid backup tight end as well and should stick around behind Bowers and Mayer.

I don't see the team keeping more than three here, but it's possible Mayer is moved and a replacement is added, probably a blocking tight end.

OL (9): Kolton Miller, Caleb Rodgers, Jackson Powers-Johnson, Dylan Parham, D.J. Glaze, Charles Grant, Jordan Meredith, Alex Cappa, Thayer Munford Jr.

This group looks so much better than it did a couple of months ago. The starting five is set, and even the depth is much better.

Don't be surprised if Grant ends up starting over Glaze at right tackle. Cappa, Munford, and Meredith are all solid backups.

DL (9): Maxx Crosby, Adam Butler, Christian Wilkins, Malcolm Koonce, Tyree Wilson, Charles Snowden, Tonka Hemingway, J.J. Pegues, Leki Fotu

This has the potential to be one of the better defensive fronts in the entire NFL. We know Crosby will perform, and Koonce had a promising 2023 before losing last year to an injury.

I have both draft picks, Hemingway and Pegues, making the team, with Fotu providing even more size off the bench.

LB (5): Elandon Roberts, Devin White, Tommy Eichenberg, Cody Lindenberg, Amari Burney

Roberts was brought in to start this offseason and the veteran should improve the run defense. Don't be surprised if the rookie Lindenberg makes the team and even contributes to some extent.

CB (6): Jakorian Bennett, Eric Stokes, Darnay Holmes, Decamerion Richardson, Darien Porter, Kyu Blu Kelly

This group got better at the top, but the depth is questionable. I have Kyu Blu Kelly sticking around due to his ability to help in the slot, but don't be surprised if the team adds to this room before the season starts.

S (5): Jeremy Chinn, Isaiah Pola-Mao, Lonnie Johnson Jr., Thomas Harper, Free Agent

This is another position group that could use some added depth before the season starts. The top three names are locks but the final two spots are up for grabs.

For now, we'll go with Thomas Harper, who contributes on special teams, and a free agent addition.

Specialists (3): A.J. Cole, Daniel Carlson, Jacob Bobenmoyer

It's normal for teams to bring in competition at these positions over the summer, but for now, we'll assume this group stays the same.
