The Buffalo Bills are in desperate need for a top receiver in their offense. While they had one of the best offensive seasons in team history in 2024, breaking the franchise record for points in a season, they still need a legitimate No. 1 capable boundary receiver.

Amari Cooper is a free agent, and didn't provide the star power Buffalo was hoping for when they traded for him. Meanwhile, Mack Hollins signed with the division-rival New England Patriots, and Keon Coleman only had 29 catches in 13 games. With that in mind, Bryce Lazenby predicts the Bills will make a big trade in the 2025 NFL Draft, trading with the Minnesota Vikings to move up and take Texas wide receiver Matthew Golden

"The Bills see Matthew Golden slipping and decide to jump ahead of the Houston Texans and others who could be interested," Lazenby writes. "Golden is a speedy receiver with sure hands who gives the Bills a potentially elite pass-catcher to bolster Josh Allen's supporting cast."

Golden showed abilities to win at all three levels while at Texas. He gets off the line of scrimmage as well as any receiver in the draft, and is also one of the top deep-ball receivers in the Nation. Buffalo landing Golden would give them their best over-the-top target since John Brown.
