Bayern Munich are expected to go through a revamp in the upcoming summer transfer window under their new manager Vincent Kompany.
The Bavarians are already making moves in the transfer market as renowned transfer insider Cesar Luis Merlo reported that the German giants are closing in on landing Chilean midfielder Felipe Loyola. According to him the deal is in final stages.
Merlo stated that the German outfit may finalise the team for approximately €20 million. His transfer fee will be split equally with his former team, Huachipato FC.
The midfielder, who currently plies his trade in Argentina, plays regularly for the Chile national team, especially after Ricardo Gareca's appointment as head coach.
Loyola is predominantly a midfielder, but he is equally capable of playing at right-back. He will provide options to Kompany if he joins the Rekordmeister.
Bayern Munich are close to winning the Bundesliga crown this season. They need a win against RB Leipzig to seal the title race. This will be a big boost for Kompany after his team crashed out of the Champions League quarter-final.
