It's Tasmania's turn for some tennis action, with the Hobart International main draw heating up.

After falling short in last year's final, Elise Mertens has returned as the No. 2 seed and is looking to go all the way in the WTA 250 event.

Rising Aussie star Maya Joint is enjoying an impressive tournament debut, bursting into the semi-finals.

Dayana Yastremska – who enjoyed a stunning semi-final run at the 2024 Australian Open – also featured, but was eliminated at the quarter-final stage.

The Sporting News will keep you updated with the draw and results.
