Andrej Stojakovic has decided on his third college basketball home.
The son of one of the NBA's all-time great shooters is heading to the Big Ten.
From Stanford to Cal, Stojakovic's new home will be Illinois.
Stojakovic's decision came out midday on Monday, and Fighting Illini fans had great reason to rejoice.
He chose Illinois over North Carolina and a return to Stanford.
Andrej, at 6-foot-7, was ranked as the consensus No. 23 recruit in the 2023 class.

His two best games of 2024-25 with the Golden Bears came in the ACC Tournament, when he put up a 29-point outing and then followed it up by dropping 37.
Andrej's father Peja finished as high as fourth in the NBA MVP voting, when in 2003-04 he averaged 24.2 points per game and shot 43.3 percent from 3-point range and 92.7 percent at the foul line.
The Serbian-born Peja went on to appear in games for the Indiana Pacers, New Orleans Hornets, Toronto Raptors and the Mavericks. Dallas was Peja's last stop, in 2010-11, and he averaged 8.6 points per game.
Illinois went 22-13 overall in 2024-25, with a 12-8 Big Ten record.
Stojakovic's addition is huge to remain competitive in the ultra-strong Big Ten.
It'll be a change for him, coming to the Midwest from the West Coast. But it might just be the right fit that allows him to thrive and potentially even reach the NBA.
