Talia Gibson has seen her run at Australian Open 2025 come to a disappointing end at the hands of Paula Badosa.

The Aussie wildcard entry was unable to force her way past the world no.11 in the final match on Margaret Court Arena for the night as she went down 6-1 6-0.

The exit against the Spaniard comes after Gibson became the first Aussie to reach the second round at this year's event with an opening win over Zeynep Sönmez.
