In a dramatic turn of events, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have missed out on signing Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani.
Instead, Juventus has swooped in to secure the French international on loan for the remainder of the 2024-25 season.
Both Premier League clubs had been heavily linked with Kolo Muani, who has struggled to replicate his past form at PSG.
Since joining the French champions in 2023, the 26-year-old has managed just two goals and one assist in 14 appearances this season.
Despite his dip in form, Kolo Muani remains a hot prospect, thanks to his impressive record of 26 goals and 17 assists in his last season with Eintracht Frankfurt.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Juventus acted swiftly to secure the deal, with Kolo Muani reportedly accepting the offer.
The striker is set to complete his medical in Turin this week. However, the deal does not include an option for Juventus to make the transfer permanent.

This move signals Juventus’ intent to bolster their attack while ruling out their pursuit of other rumored targets like Manchester United's Marcus Rashford.
Meanwhile, Kolo Muani’s long-term future remains uncertain, with a potential permanent departure from PSG expected in the summer.

What’s next for Man United?
The failure to sign Kolo Muani leaves Manchester United with limited options to strengthen their forward lines this January.
United alongside Spurs, have been linked to Lille's Jonathan David, who has netted 17 goals this season. However, neither team has made an official bid for the Canadian striker.
