Broncos coach Michael Maguire is optimistic that Adam Reynolds will extend with the club.
The veteran halfback is off-contract at the end of the season but is showing no signs of slowing down.
Reynolds, 34, inked a one-year contract extension last year, which led some to believe it would be his last hurrah as an NRL player.
However, his management is now set to sit down with Brisbane bosses this month to negotiate a new deal, according to Code Sports.

This is despite concerns around the club's tightening salary cap, with several other key players – including Selwyn Cobbo and Kotoni Staggs – also coming off contract.
Maguire is "confident" they can find a solution, though.
"I would love to see ‘Reyno’ go on," the new Broncos coach said.
"I don’t see any reason why he can’t keep going on next season, and I’m confident we will find a way to keep him.
"Everyone has salary-cap challenges, but we have to be diligent to look at the space we’re in.
"I get that finances play a part, but it’s also what the team means and what we achieve together. That’s the job of everyone here, to build the environment – and Reyno is a huge part of that.
"Culture is a big part of every NRL club and Reyno is a crucial part of this organisation."
