Hurricanes are set to face off against the ladder toppers, Chiefs in Round 12 of the 2025 Super Rugby Pacific season this Saturday.

After an upset 35-29 win over the Brumbies, the Hurricanes have climbed from eighth to fifth on the ladder. Co-captain Du'Plessis Kirifi had also stated post-match that: "Our season was on the line, a win tonight keeps us in the hunt."

They face an in-form Chiefs side who have beaten them in four of the past five meetings at the Sky Stadium. Cam Roigard will once again be key to the Hurricanes' chances with the halfback making 10 try assists, the most in the season so far.

On the other hand, Chiefs are 8-2 in the season with 37 points and will hope to extend their lead on the Super Rugby ladder this weekend. They face a Hurricanes season against whom they have had the edge in four of the last six meetings.

However, they suffered an injury blow during their win over the Force. Centre Anton Lienert-Brown might be on the sidelines for most of the season after a collarbone injury.
