The 2024 Formula 1 season is set to come to a close in Abu Dhabi this weekend.

Max Verstappen has already claimed the drivers' championship but the constructors' title is still up for grabs.

McLaren and Ferrari will duel it out at Yas Marina, with the former holding a 21-point lead. 

The race will also serve as a farewell for multiple drivers. Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu will leave Sauber, while Kevin Magnussen will conclude his time at Haas.

On top of this, Lewis Hamilton will drive for Mercedes one last time before his switch to Ferrari.

F1 Abu Dhabi: Practice start time in Australia

The action in the UAE's capital will take place over a traditional grand prix weekend format.

The first practice session is scheduled for 8:30 pm AEDT on Friday, December 6 followed by the second session at 12:00 am AEDT on Saturday, December 7.

The third and final session is set for 9:30 pm AEDT on Saturday, December 7.

F1 Abu Dhabi: Qualifying start time in Australia

Qualifying is slated for 1:00 am AEDT on Sunday, December 8 and should take approximately one hour to complete.

It will be held over a trio of sessions, with the five slowest drivers knocked out at each stage before a top-10 battle.

F1 Abu Dhabi: Race start time in Australia

The race is scheduled to begin at 12:00 am AEDT on Monday, December 9.

Drivers will complete 58 laps around the Yas Marina Circuit.
