The NFL Playoffs have officially begun, with Wild Card Weekend well underway.
As the race to the title heats up, 12 teams are in action over the three day wild card round - the Kansas City Chiefs and the Detroit Lions both given byes due to their top seed status.
While only two Australians remain in the postseason, they play for two of the most impressive title contenders left standing, but how did they perform on Wild Card Weekend?
Aussie NFL Wrap-up: Wild Card Weekend
Daniel Faalele - Baltimore Ravens
The Baltimore Ravens' dominant regular-season form continued in their first playoff game, where they easily handled divisional rivals the Pittsburgh Steelers.
In particular, the Ravens offence was near-unstoppable, as the dynamic duo of Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry put up two touchdowns apiece.

Faalele and the Baltimore offensive line was instrumental in the playoff win that relied heavily on the ground game, including one 13-play touchdown drive in which the team didn't attempt a single pass.
With two rushing touchdowns, 299 total rushing yards, and just one sack taken, it's safe to say the line did their job Monday, with Faalele putting on an impressive showing in the win.
Jordan Mailata - Philadelphia Eagles
It was a successful day for Aussies in the NFL, with Jordan Mailata and the Eagles also claiming victory in their first playoff game.
Philadelphia took down the Green Bay Packers 22-10, in a solid effort from the entire squad, through the air and on the ground.
Why could Saquon take this to the backside?

As per usual, the Eagles offensive line came up in a massive way, allowing for 169 yards from Saquon Barkley, Jalen Hurts, and Kenneth Gainwell.
Mailata was the beating heart of this line once more, allowing for a number of significant rushing plays, proving he was snubbed from the 2024 NFL All-Pro team as his team continues to push towards yet another playoff appearance.
