After an exciting three-game series last year, the new Women's State of Origin format is back for 2025.

Queensland and New South Wales will do battle across May, with the potential decider to take place a full month out from the start of the NRLW season.

Women’s State of Origin 2025: Dates, schedule, venues, cities

This year's series will begin at Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium on May 1.

NSW will then have home-ground advantage for the following two matches.

Game II will take place at Allianz Stadium in Sydney (May 15) before the teams head to Newcastle less than a fortnight later for a potential decider at McDonald Jones Stadium (May 28).

How to watch Women’s State of Origin

The 2025 women's State of Origin series will be broadcast on Channel 9, 9Gem and 9Now.

Who won the Women’s State of Origin series last year?

Queensland retained the shield last year, claiming a 2-1 series victory.

Despite suffering a surprise loss in Brisbane, they kept the series alive with a one-point victory in Newcastle before outclassing their opponents in the decider in Townsville.
