The Wallabies will be playing the second game in their two match series against Wales in Melbourne, and will be looking to complete a clean sweep after winning game one in Sydney.

It is also a special week, as the Wallabies will be commemorating NAIDOC week, as well as Rugby Australia's First Nations Month.

To mark the occasion, they will also be wearing a special jersey on Saturday night.

What jersey are the Wallabies wearing against Wales?

The Wallabies will be wearing a special 'First Nations' jersey during their Test match against Wales on Saturday.

The official Wallabies website says the jersey "continues tradition featuring the iconic indigenous artwork on the traditional gold base with the contrast of the Wallabies green to showcase the richness of the artwork."

The jersey was launched on July 8th to mark the start of NAIDOC week, which the Wallabies are keenly participating in.

What is the story behind First Nations jersey and celebration?

For many years, Rugby Australia and the Wallabies have stepped up their efforts to recognise the importance of Indigenous culture both within the sport and within Australia, as well as the contributions of First Nations players and staff over the decades in rugby union.

A special Indigenous jersey was first worn in the Test win over New Zealand in 2017, and was worn the following year against England at Twickenham in the end-of-year tests.

A special moment came in 2020, where the Wallabies not only wore an Indigenous jersey for the first match of The Rugby Championship, but the National Anthem was also performed in the Eora language by Wiradjuri women Olivia Fox before also being sung in English; the Wallabies players also took the time to learn the Eora version of the anthem and sung along with Fox in a touching moment.

This week, the Wallabies began their preparations in Melbourne by having Rugby Australia First Nations cultural advisor Dean Duncan speak to the side on the importance of NAIDOC week, as well as gifting captain Liam Wright and coach Joe Schmidt with didgeridoos, and painting Wiradjuri man Dylan Pietsch's face with ochre.

This corresponds with 7:15 p.m. in Adelaide, and 5:45 p.m. in Perth.
