Originally scheduled for June before an injury saw the bout scrapped, Tyson Pedro's professional boxing debut has again been put on hold following a dramatic fight-day withdrawal.
Pedro's opponent, Kris Terzievski, as well as his team, flew back to Melbourne on Wednesday amid a contract dispute.
In the new event, two of the country's best light heavyweights in Paulo Aokuso and Clay Waterman face off in what is sure to be a spiteful clash.

What is bridgerweight?
The bridgerweight division might be best described as super cruiserweight. The weight limit is 224 pounds, with the idea being that smaller heavyweights no longer need to tackle behemoths, such as 270-pound Tyson Fury, if they want to win a title.
In November 2020, the WBC issued a press release explaining their decision to implement an 18th weight class into professional boxing.
"We have decided to create a new division, called 'Bridger,' as it is the necessary bridge to serve the large number of boxers who are between 200 and 224 pounds."
