The Western Bulldogs take on the Port Adelaide Power in Round 9 of the 2025 AFL season at the Mars Stadium on Saturday.
The Bulldogs are now 4-3 in the season after back-to-back victories, including their latest 113-81 win over rivals GWS Giants. Despite missing key forwards Sam Darcy and Jamarra Ugle-Hagan, their midfield continues to show why they are one of the best in the league.
Bulldogs will be happy to be back at Ballarat, where they have nine wins in 13 matches; however, two of their losses at the venue also came against the next opponent, Port Adelaide.
Meanwhile, the in-form Port Adelaide have bounced back with three straight wins and are 4-3 in the season. They have also managed to keep their opponents under 100 points for the last six games and will hope to continue to build on their strengthening defence.
The last time these two sides met, the Power breezed through with a 48-point victory, led by captain Connor Rozee and vice-captain Zak Butters, in the 102-54 win at the Adelaide Oval.
