While Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul definitely won’t go down as the fight of the year, it is almost certainly going to end up as one of the most-watched combat sports events in history.

On Tuesday, it was revealed by Netflix that Tyson vs. Paul had over 108 million viewers for the event. Meanwhile, the co-main event, a rematch between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano became the single-most watched professional women’s sports event in the history of the United States with 47 million average viewership as well as an estimated 74 million live viewers globally.

The Tyson vs. Paul fight peaked with 65 million concurrent streams. This set a new record as the most streamed global sports event in history. There were 38 million concurrent streams from the United States alone.

According to TVision, a company that measures TV viewing, 56 percent of all U.S. TV viewing between 12 am and 1 am EST was tuned into the fight on Friday night. The event was also No. 1 overall on Netflix for the week with 46.6 million views (total hours viewed/runtime) through Sunday.

That said, the numbers are certainly impressive despite the heavy criticism that was directed towards the event.
