The North Queensland Cowboys returned from the bye week to piece together a spectacular 32-point victory over the Titans.
Todd Payten praised his side's effort in his post-match press conference, citing the pressure they mounted for large stretches of the game as a key to victory.
"Thought we put 60 minutes of good footy together," he said.
The lion's share of Payten's plaudits was for his young stars who have continued to build in confidence since the start of the season.

One such player is winger Robert Derby who crossed the stripe three times in the match, taking his total to four for the season.
"Yeah I thought he was awesome," said Payten.
"[He] carries the ball really strong you know, he’s put together a good month of footy,"
"He was down on confidence after the trial match we had up in Cairns. He had to go back to Q cup and bide his time. He worked hard on his craft, you know, he’s got something the kid."
On the opposite flank, another emerging star in the North Queensland backline getting heaped with praise is centre Jaxon Purdue.
The former Queensland's under-19's representative is in his second season of first grade and is enjoying immense form.
In the early stages of Saturday's contest, Purdue was left clutching at his shoulder after a heavy collision.
"Yeah, I thought he had to play pretty tough today," said Payten.
"[He] copped a knock to the shoulder, he stayed down there another time I think he copped one pretty high. So he’s getting used to the physicality of the game,"
"He’s got plenty of ability and [I've] spoke glowingly about him in the past."
Less inexperienced, but equally impressive in their round eight clash was Purdue's running mate on the left edge, Murray Taulagi.
Taulagi celebrated his 100th first grade appearance on Saturday, with a try in the 71st minute capping off an exceptional performance for the Queensland State of Origin star.

Payten spoke to the milestone and how influential having a player like Taulagi can be on a football side.
"He’s gifted at a lot of things so for me to see him do that is not surprising," he said.
"He’s just got that natural ability and yeah, he can play."
Club captain and Taulagi's Maroons teammate Tom Dearden, symbolises for Payten why this young group of players is having so much success.
At just 24-years-of-age, Dearden has already accomplished so much in the game, and is setting his sights on delivering a premiership to Townsville.
"He’s going pretty good. It was an interrupted week for him, so he missed a session on Wednesday. He was a little sick," said Payten.
"I thought it was a real captain’s knock today... I’m glad he’s ours."
