Reports in Brazil (via ge.globo) suggest talks have already been called off. The CBF may now turn to Jorge Jesus, currently managing Al Hilal, as their backup plan.

As for Ancelotti, he’s still expected to leave Real Madrid this summer — but don’t rule out a U-turn. There’s also interest from Saudi Arabia, with a reported offer worth around £42 million a year. Not a bad Plan B, right?
