Kyrie Irving is a man of many talents.
In addition to the one-of-a-kind skillset he's displayed throughout his 13-year NBA career, Irving has a few off-the-court talents he has shared with fans. In 2018, Irving honed his acting chops during the "Uncle Drew" major motion picture. Six years later, he put those skills back on display during a stream with Kai Cenat.
Irving joined Cenat's "Mafiathon 2" stream on Thursday, Nov. 29. There, the two were the center of various hijinks, forums, exercises and activities. Among those activities was a one-on-one situation that called for some acting from Irving.

Was Kyrie Irving traded to the Lakers?
Irving has not been traded to the Lakers. On Thursday, however, he acted out the scenario as if it was real life.
As often with Cenat's streams, the creative juices got flowing with some outside-the-box thinking. Cenat urged Irving to act as if he was acquired by the Lakers, and the results did not disappoint.
Irving delivered an artful one-person dialogue while Cenat played a famous dramatic riff in the background.
"Whew, hello. Hello?! Yeah, I can talk," Irving says to open the faux phone conversation with his "agent."
"It's gonna be Los Angeles? I understand, alright," Irving continued with the impromptu script. "How much they paying? That number's not right. It's L.A., what you talking about?"

Irving continued with the ruse that there was an element of disrespect to the fake trade, closing the scene with a chilling promise.
"You want me to show up tomorrow and you treat me like this? You know what, I'm gonna make you respect me. I'm gonna come in there and outwork everybody. And this time, no f—ing regrets. See y'all tomorrow."

Irving has been traded twice in his career so perhaps some of the acting was from experience. The decision to take on the "disrespected" narrative was an interesting one. Irving has been linked to the Lakers in the past and has a pre-existing history with Lakers superstar LeBron James, as the two won a title together in Cleveland.
Regardless, Irving's choices make for an entertaining watch. For now, though, there's no need for Mavericks fans to fret. It's all in good artistic fun.
