McLaren has been firing on all cylinders in 2025, and there's every reason to believe they'll be in the thick of the action again as the F1 caravan heads to Miami this weekend.
The British outfit has already racked up four wins this season, three of them courtesy of current championship leader Oscar Piastri, with Lando Norris adding one of his own. Miami holds special memories for Norris, who stormed to his first-ever F1 victory on the Florida streets last year.
Max Verstappen and Red Bull haven't quite matched their usual blistering pace this season. The Dutch driver, however, continues to deliver, banking a victory and three podiums already. If McLaren stumbles, he'll be ready to pounce.
Norris began his championship defence on the perfect note, winning this year's chaotic sprint race in Miami. With the sprint qualifying taking place in wet conditions and poor visibility, Charles Leclerc crashed en route the grid.
Max Verstappen, who finished last in the sprint race due to a 10 second penalty, however clinched the pole for Sunday's GP. Norris starts second, while Kimi Antonelli is third on the starting grid.

What is an F1 sprint race?
Six of the 24 events on the 2025 F1 calendar have been designated as sprint events. In a sprint race weekend, Friday's FP2 is replaced by a sprint qualifying session and the FP3 on Saturday makes way for the sprint race itself.
Covering just 100 kilometres (62.1 miles), roughly a third of the distance of a traditional Grand Prix, the sprint is a flat-out dash to the finish, with no mandatory stops to shake things up. It’s racing stripped down to its purest form: fastest to the flag wins. And with such tight margins, every move counts.
The sprint race is a high-pressure environment where anything can happen: no pit strategy means all these cars will be going fast and bold overtakes are a given. With points available, drivers just can't afford to get complacent.
The first eight cars to the finish line are awarded points, from eight to one, with the winner bagging a maximum of eight points.
