It turns out, more than one prospect received a prank call during the NFL Draft.
Giants edge rusher Abdul Carter received a dial from someone claiming to be with the Jaguars on Thursday night, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Jacksonville was on the clock at the time of the call, and the person on the line said the team was ready to pick Carter at No. 2 overall before hanging up. New York drafted the Penn State product with the No. 3 overall pick.
"Abdul and I knew it was bs and didn’t even tell his family about the call," said Carter's agent Drew Rosenhaus. It’s unfortunate that these private numbers are getting to the people making the prank calls."

Here's what to know about the Abdul Carter prank call.
Abdul Carter prank call, explained
Before Abdul Carter got a real call from the Giants to inform him he was being selected at No. 3, he received a fake dial from a private number telling him the Jaguars were selecting him at No. 2.
The prank call to Carter turned out to be the first one of the draft. Other prospects who went in the first round, such as Colts tight end Tyler Warren and Commanders offensive lineman Josh Conerly Jr., also received them.
Shedeur Sanders got the most notable prank call of the weekend from someone claiming to be Saints general manager Mickey Loomis. It turned out to be Jax Ulbrich, who got Sanders' number from his father's team-issued iPad. The NFL fined the Falcons and Jeff Ulbrich for the incident.
The league is investigating all of the prank calls to draft prospects this weekend.
