Conor McGregor has sparked speculation about a potential boxing exhibition bout against Logan Paul in India with his latest social media post.
McGregor has claimed he is in “preliminary agreements” with the Ambani family to organize the contest. And dismissed rumors of a UFC fight with featherweight champion Ilia Topuria.
McGregor who is under contract for two more UFC fights, said the potential clash with Paul would precede his return to the UFC. His sole boxing match against Floyd Mayweather in 2017 remains the highest-selling pay-per-view in history, and a second boxing bout could be as big of a success.
Speaking about the same on his show, The Ariel Helwani Show, Helwani validated the possibility. While suggesting that the bout is easy to make, he said:
"Now you maybe asking yourself, 'Okay how is this possible? How could Logan Paul compete against Conor McGregor in a boxing match?' Logan Paul is a WWE competitor... Conor McGregor is a UFC fighter. Well then you quickly come to the realization that the parent company of WWE and UFC is TKO. So they are all under the same umbrella. Very easy to get done."
