The Sydney Kings and Adelaide 36ers are bidding for a spot in the National Basketball League (NBL) play-in game as they face-off on Thursday.

The Kings finished the regular season with a 16-13 win-loss record, ending up  fifth in the NBL standings. Meanwhile, 36ers had an identical win-loss record of 13-16 as defending champions Tasmania JackJumpers, but snuck into the top-six due to better points percentage.

The winner of the match will take on South East Melbourne Phoenix on Sunday in the play-in game.

It will be played in Sydney at the Qudos Bank Arena.
