The 13th-placed Carlton Blues take on the 6th-placed Geelong Cats in Round 7 of the 2025 AFL season for the Sunday afternoon clash at MCG.
Following four straight losses to begin their season, Carlton have bounced back with consecutive wins against North Melbourne and West Coast.
George Hewett is having his career-best year, averaging 30.3 disposals and is third best in the league for clearances (49), averaging 8.2 per game. Similarly, Charlie Cunrow is in red-hot form, kicking 16 goals in his last four games.
The high-flying Geelong Cats, meanwhile, have secured consecutive victories over premiership challengers Hawthorn and Adelaide. They beat the Hawks 86-79 in the Easter Monday clash in front of a jam-packed MCG crowd earlier this week.
However, Geelong will not be able to train at their home base in GMHBA stadium, Kardinia Park, for two weeks between rounds 7-9, due to a Hollywood NFL shoot crew taking over the ground.
Instead, they will relocate training to the Deakin University grounds in Waurn Ponds.
