Matthew Ebden and John Peers have guaranteed a medal for Australia in the mixed doubles, reaching the final in Paris.

The experienced tennis duo will now battle for gold when they take on the USA pair of Austin Krajicek and Rajeev Ram.

The men's doubles final is scheduled to start at 8:00 pm AEST on Saturday, August 3.

A court is yet to be assigned, although it is likely to be the first match of the day on Court Philippe-Chatrier.

While Peers is competing exclusively in men's doubles, Ebden has also been in action alongside Ellen Perez in the mixed doubles, losing in the quarter-finals.
