The Penrith Panthers are set to take on Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles in Round 8 of the 2025 NRL season at the CommBank Stadium in Sydney this weekend.

The reigning premiers, Panthers, finally ended their five-game losing streak with their first win since Round 1. They hammered the Roosters 40-12 in a game that saw halfback Nathan Cleary become the club's record points scorer.

However, they have some injury concerns and suspensions this week - Luke Garner is out for one game after a head knock, while Scott Sorensen is doubtful with a finger injury. Mitch Kenny has been hit with a two-game ban for his tackle on Nat Butcher last week.

Meanwhile, the Sea Eagles suffered a narrow 18-20 defeat to the Dragons, which was their three loss on the bounce. However, they will receive a massive boost with the potential return of Tom Trbojevic for this clash.

At the same time, the Sea Eagles have lost players to injury with Jake Trbojevic being the latest casualty after copping a head knock against the Dragons. Nathan Brown and Ethan Bullemor are doubtful due to injuries as well.

The Sporting News is on hand to bring you all the latest TV, scheduling and live streaming information ahead of this match.
