Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders' unexpected slide in the 2025 NFL Draft continues. Deep into the third round, the quarterback continues to go undrafted, despite multiple picks by teams that need either starting or backup QBs.
On day two, the quarterback continued to wait from his watch party location in Texas. Unfortunately, someone apparently found Sanders' number and prank-called him, pretending to be an NFL team representative.
Here's more on the prank call involving Sanders and an NFL team impersonator on Friday night.

Shedeur Sanders prank call
On Saturday, a full video of the call was released. On the phone, you can hear someone pretending to be New Orleans general manager Micky Loomis. He says the Saints are going to take him with their next pick, before saying he has to wait a little bit longer:
After the call, Sanders and his camp seem confused why the Saints would contact him without actually drafting him. He then is seen going over to his dad Deion and saying he got trolled.
On Saturday, a video of the pranksters themselves posted a video of them making the call to Sanders. Although their identities are unknown, one caller is seen wearing an Ole Miss shirt:

As if Sanders' slide isn't bad enough, this makes the whole situation even more brutal. Honestly, it makes you feel pretty bad for him that he's been waiting for this for so long only to get messed with.
We'll see how much longer the former Colorado quarterback has to wait for his name to be called entering the last few rounds of the draft.
