Eagle-eyed fans may notice four digits on Queensland sleeves during this year's women's and men's State of Origin series.
There is meaning behind those numbers, as they represent the players' home postcodes.
The digits are in place of the XXXX logo – a beer brand synonymous with the Sunshine State.
This postcode initiative has been run with the men's Origin side for the past three years, and is making its women's Origin debut in 2025.

Maroons star Shenae Ciesiolka will wear 4401 on her sleeve to reflect her hometown of Oakey.
"There’s something really special about running out for Queensland with my hometown postcode on my sleeve," she said.
"It’s more than a postcode, Oakey is where everything started for me, the early mornings, the muddy boots, the local support. Having 4401 on my jersey during Origin is a proud reminder of the people and the place that helped me in my career, and it's an honour to take them with me to the Origin stage.
"Representing Queensland is always a huge honour, but wearing my hometown's postcode makes it even more special."
