As the 2025 NFL Draft enters Day Two, there are a number of big names remaining on the board. Especially at quarterback.
Entering the final six rounds of the draft, Ohio State's Will Howard remained undrafted. In the first round, there were just two quarterbacks taken, so plenty of signal-callers remain on the board.

Howard, who started his career at Kansas State, transferred to Ohio State for his senior season, helped lead the Buckeyes to their first national title since 2014 last year.
Let's take a look at the mock drafts for Howard to see which round, if at all, he'll be drafted this year.

Where will Will Howard be drafted?
Howard is not considered one of the top few quarterbacks in this draft class, but he is likely to be drafted. At Kansas State, Howard was more a of a game manager type quarterback. The Wildcats relied heavily on their run game offensively while Howard was in Manhattan, and his passing numbers reflected that.
But Howard has a breakout season at Ohio State, eclipsing over 4,000 yards passing for the first time in his career. It helps that Howard was throwing to NFL-caliber receivers like Jeremiah Smith and first-round pick Emeka Egbuka. But overall, Howard showed signs of being able to develop into a pro quarterback eventually, unlike other pro-ready quarterbacks in this year's class.

Here's one scouting report on Howard, via NFL.com's Lance Zierlein:
He showed good poise in 2024 to beat the blitz through the air and has always been able to escape pressure by making plays with his legs. Howard is big, tough and accurate but benefited from superior talent at the skill positions at Ohio State. Unless he proves he can play chess against NFL defenses, he might not have enough in the tool box to become more than an average backup.
Here's some of Bleacher Report's scouting report on Howard:
He must refrain from putting the football in harm's way. Howard tends to lock onto his initial read or pre-determine his read based on the pre-snap defensive alignment. This creates vulnerability when the defense changes its pre-snap look post-snap. Howard tests windows with a gunslinger mentality, trusting his arm more than he should.
"I believe I'm the best quarterback in this class," Howard told ESPN earlier this month. "I think there's unbelievable talent. But if you're going to be a competitor, at the end of the day, you have to have that belief in yourself, and I think that's what helps me get through those adverse times."
Vinnie Iyer has Howard as the No. 103 overall player in this year's draft.
Here's where several seven-round mock drafts have projected him to land:
- The Athletic: Round 5, Pick No. 143 to Raiders
- TSN: Round 4, Pick No. 108 to Raiders
- PFF: Round 4, No. 137 overall to Seahawks
- NFL.com: Round 3, No. 83 overall to Steelers
- ESPN: Round 5, No. 143 overall to Raiders
- CBS: Round 4, No. 110 overall to Jets
As you can see, Howard's projections are a bit all over the place, but it seems like he has the potential to be a late-round pick.
