It all comes down to this.
On Friday night, the Rockets closed the gap against the Warriors, winning Game 6 on the road to force a Game 7 in Houston. Golden State was up 3-1 in the series after four games, but the Rockets won back-to-back games in impressive fashion to stay alive in the series.
The Rockets entered this series with home-court advantage, but they immediately lost it when the Warriors took Game 1. Now, Houston regains it with one game remaining, thanks to Alperen Sengun and Fred VanVleet's heroics over the past two games.

So far in the series, Sengun has averaged 20.8 rebounds, 11.5 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 2.0 steals, all of which lead the team through six games. VanVleet, meanwhile, is shooting 42.9% from deep, but he's been particularly effective in the past few games.
On the other side, the Warriors are hoping their veteran presence will help them avoid blowing another 3-1 series lead. So far, Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler have averaged 24.3 and 18.0 points in this series, respectively, along with over five rebounds and four assists each.
Golden State has played in five Game 7s since 2014, and the team has a 3-2 record in those contests. Most recently, the Warriors beat the Kings in a Game 7 two years ago in Sacramento. For the Rockets, this will be their first Game 7 since 2020 when they beat the Clippers in the bubble.
This game will finish up the first round of the NBA playoffs, with the winner playing the Timberwolves in round two.
