Real Madrid may end the season without any silverware, and therefore, there will be strong repercussions in the Spanish capital.
Los Blancos are strongly linked with Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso to replace Carlo Ancelotti, who may potentially leave the club this summer.
Apart from the managerial change, the club is also looking offload certain players and for that they would need to free up funds. As per reports, Alonso has already handed out a list of players that he would need if he takes charge of the club.
Therefore, to facilitate such moves, Los Blancos are willing to offload Brazilian starlet Rodrygo Goes. According to a report from The Sun., Real Madrid will accept an offer worth £85 million (€100m/$112m) for the young winger this summer.
According to other reports from The Sun, Arsenal and Manchester United have been monitoring the Brazilian winger as both clubs need to sign wide players.
There are rumblings in Spain suggesting that the youngster wants to leave the club this summer and is looking forward to a fresh start to his career elsewhere.

Why is Rodrygo plotting a move out of Madrid?
As per reports from Marca, the young winger has gone under the radar after the arrival of Kylian Mbappe. Currently, Rodrygo feels he isn't appreciated enough with players like Mbappe, Jude Bellingham, and compatriot Vinicius Jr. all ahead of him in the pecking order in terms of hogging the limelight at the Spanish capital.
The only other way things could change if Ancelotti's successor include him in his plans and convince him to stay in Madrid.
However, some reports suggest that Alonso has also communicated to Real Madrid management about the players he would like to offload if he joins the club as manager.
Unfortunately, the list includes Rodrygo's name, suggesting that the Brazilian winger is not in Alonso's plans. His sale will mean, Real Madrid could invest that money on Florian Wirtz, a player top of Alonso's wishlist.
The Brazil international joined Los Blancos in 2019 from Santos and has featured in 267 matches, scoring 68 goals. He has won three La Liga titles, a Copa del Rey title and two Champions League crowns along with other trophies with the Royal Whites.
