With no first-round draft picks being traded, the 2025 NFL Draft was the first time in the Common Draft era that each team owned its own first-round draft pick heading into the first round, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. Only four trades were made in the first round, with the majority coming in the final 10 picks of the round. 

The second round had six total trades, while the third round had seven. The action definitely picked up over the first two days of the draft, but no deal was bigger than the first one. The Browns were poised to talk cornerback, wide receiver Travis Hunter, but were enticed to take a trade package from the Jaguars. Cleveland moved back three spots and added an extra pick in the second round and in the 2026 first round. 

The other big trade in the first round saw the Giants move back into the first round. New York took Abdul Carter with the No. 3 overall pick. The Giants jumped back into the first round, but chose not to take Colorado's Shedeur Sanders. Instead, New York picked Jaxson Dart out of Ole Miss.

11:01 p.m. -- The Texans move up in a deal with the Vikings.

10:59 p.m. -- The Falcons move up, and the Eagles are moving back.

10:31 p.m. -- The Texans and Jaguars make a trade despite both being in the AFC South.

10:26 p.m. -- The Patriots continue moving back, this time with the Chiefs coming up.

10:00 p.m. -- The Panthers are moving up, in a deal with the Patriots.

9:40 p.m. -- It didn't take long for us to get our first trade of the third round. The Lions are moving up, and the Jaguars are moving back.

8:48 p.m. -- The Lions are moving up, with the Broncos moving back in the second round.

8:28 p.m. -- The Panthers are moving up in a deal with the Broncos.

11:28 p.m. -- The Eagles are moving up one spot, to hop the Chiefs. 

Eagles receive: No. 31

Chiefs receive: No. 32, No. 164

10:58 p.m. -- Only seven minutes later, we have another trade. The Falcons moved back into the first round. 

Falcons receive: No. 26, No. 101

Rams receive: No. 46, No. 242, and 2026 1st rounder

10:51 p.m. -- It took nearly three hours, but we finally have another trade. The Giants are trading up in a swap with the Texans. 

Giants receive: No. 25

Texans receive: No. 34, No. 99, 2026 3rd rounder

8:15 p.m. -- Every team came into the 2025 NFL Draft with their own pick, but that didn't last long. The Jaguars were rumored to be in on running back Ashton Jeanty, but they are moving up to the No. 2 pick in a huge swap with the Browns. 

Jaguars receive: No. 2 overall pick, No. 104 and No. 200. 

Browns receive: No. 5 overall pick, No. 36, No. 126 and a 2026 1st round pick from Jacksonville.
