Gordon Tallis has backed Brisbane to prioritise extending Selwyn Cobbo over Adam Reynolds.
The Broncos will have some difficult contract decisions ahead, with the likes of Reynolds, Cobbo, Kotoni Staggs, Jack Gosiewski and Kobe Hetherington hitting the open market.
With the club arguably in a premiership window, they may have to make tough calls as they push for a trophy.
Do they prioritise keeping experienced heads at the club or opt for younger players with big futures ahead?

That question presents itself in the form of Reynolds and Cobbo.
Reynolds is a 34-year-old premiership winner who currently anchors the team in the No. 7 jersey.
On the other hand, 22-year-old Cobbo looks set to be a star back in the NRL for the foreseeable future.
Should the club find themselves in a position where they can only fit one of the above under their salary cap, Tallis believes the Broncos should lock down Cobbo.
He notes how his versatility, including his ability to fill in at fullback, could pay dividends for Michael Maguire's side.
"I think Cobbo is the one that they keep ... every day of the week, twice on Sunday," Tallis said on NRL 360.
"Who is going to win more competitions for them?
"If Reece Walsh doesn’t come back and be Reece Walsh, who is fullback for the Broncos?"

For now, Brisbane can enjoy having both players at their disposal.
They currently find themselves fifth on the ladder after five wins and three losses.
Last week, they recorded a 42-18 victory over the previously undefeated Bulldogs as they look to establish themselves as genuine premiership threats.
