The recently concluded Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson was arguably one of the most talked about fights in recent times. The event which was live-streamed on Netflix faced its fair share of criticism because of the age disparity between the two.

However, people tuned in to watch the fight. As far as the fight goes, it was won by Paul via unanimous decision and the event broke several records. It was revealed by Netflix that Tyson vs. Paul had over 108 million viewers for the event which set a new record as the most streamed global sports event in history.

As more data is revealed, another shocking fact has emerged online. As per recent reports, the stocks of the streaming platform increased and the event added $20 billion to Netflix’s market cap.

As Netflix has started to venture into live sports streaming on its platform, it couldn’t have hoped for a better beginning. That said, it is safe to say that the platform will most likely want to do business with Paul again even though they have added NFL Christmas games and WWE Raw to their list already.
