Nicola McDermott broke her own Australian record to win the silver medal in the women's high jump, while the Boomers finally clinched an elusive first medal after beating Slovenia in the men's baskbetball bronze medal game on Day 15 of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
McDermott recorded a personal best jump of 2.02m to finish second behind Mariya Lastiskene of the Russian Olympic Committee, who clinched gold by just two centimetres.
Austrlia's Eleanor Patterson finished fifth with a season-best jump of 1.96m.
Patty Mills scored 42 points to lead the Boomers to their 107-92 breakthrough victory over Slovenia, which will see them stand on the podium for the first time.
