Richmond player Noah Balta has been sentenced after assaulting a man outside a NSW pub.
The Tigers star has received a fine and been issued an 18-month community corrections order (CCO) over the incident, which occurred in the border town of Mulwala on December 30 last year.
Balta, 25, pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm in Corowa Local Court in January.
He then appeared in the Albury Local Court on Tuesday, where he was sentenced.

Magistrate Melissa Humphrey handed Balta a $3,000 fine and sentenced him to an 18-month community corrections order.
Balta has also been ordered to a curfew between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am until July 22, 2025.
His lawyer asked for an exception to this ruling to allow Balta to play in the upcoming night matches during that period, but the magistrate said it is a punishment.
Richmond currently have a pair of evening games scheduled before July 22 – Thursday's ANZAC eve clash with Melbourne and a night match with Essendon in late May.
The 25-year-old's order also requires him to abstain from alcohol, not commit further offences, appear before court if called, not enter the Mulwala Ski Club and complete the Motivating Affect Self Control Program.
Further, the court heard Balta had paid $45,000 in compensation to the victim.

In the vision played in court in January, Balta was seen charging at and knocking over victim Thomas Walshbrook, before punching him several more times while on the ground.
Walshbrook was taken to Yarrawonga Hospital with a gash on his forehead, with Balta charged by NSW Police the next day.

Richmond imposed a four-match suspension on Balta for his involvement in the assault.
He returned to the AFL in the Tigers' victory over Gold Coast at the weekend.

Balta has played 105 senior games for Richmond.
He inked a long-term contract extension in October, keeping him in yellow and black until at least the end of the 2032 season.
