It's time for Magic Round.
We have eight games to look forward to over three days, with several intriguing storylines set up.
Only two points separate the 7th to 16th-placed teams, so we could be looking at a vastly different ladder after this weekend.
Below are The Sporting News' predictions and best bets for selected Magic Round matches — all odds per bookmaker Sportsbet.

Sydney Roosters vs. Dolphins prediction, tip, best bet
Despite beating the Storm the week prior, the Dolphins couldn't continue their momentum against the Raiders in Round 8.
They have plenty of points in them, but will need to work on their defensive communication in Brisbane.
Their opponents this week, the Roosters, can also run the scoreboard up.
They scored 46 against the Dragons on ANZAC Day and looked the most free-flowing they have all season.
We're predicting to see a ton of points, with the Tricolours standing tallest in the crucial moments.
Prediction: Roosters by 10
Best bet: Roosters to win / Over 48.5 points ($3.30)
Wests Tigers vs. St George Illawarra Dragons prediction, tip, best bet
With the Lachlan Galvin drama (seemingly) behind the Tigers now, they look to be a solid finals-worthy outfit.
The Dragons are also pushing for a return to the top eight, but are a little further off the pace at this point in time.
To address some underwhelming performances this year, the Red V have replaced halfback Lachlan Ilias with teenager Lyhkan King-Togia.
It'll be a big ask for the young gun, although he has been impressive in reserve grade.
We do like the Tigers in this particular duel, though. Expect their forward pack to be the difference.
Prediction: Tigers by 14
Best bet: Tigers -5.5 ($2.44)
Penrith Panthers vs. Brisbane Broncos prediction, tip, best bet
Penrith have a tough challenge ahead if they want to propel themselves out of bottom spot on the ladder.
Brisbane were super impressive last week against the previously undefeated Bulldogs and will hope for another fast start on Sunday.
However, it's still hard to discount the Panthers due to the talent on their team, even if they continue to struggle.
Could they take advantage of a potentially complacent Broncos outfit?
This game could be closer than people expect.
Prediction: Broncos by 2
Best bet: Either team by 8 or less ($2.20)
Melbourne Storm vs. Canberra Raiders prediction, tip, best bet
The Raiders have become a bit of a bogey team for the Storm, and we can expect this to be a highly competitive clash.
Canberra are notably riding a four-match win streak, while Melbourne have been a little flat in recent weeks.
We've also got to consider the condition of the Suncorp Stadium turf for this game, with seven NRL matches and a Women's Origin opener to take place before it.
It could be a scrappy one, and we're tipping the Raiders to nick it.
Prediction: Raiders by 4
Best bet: Raiders 1-12 ($3.50)
