The UFC starts a busy 2025 with a top contender fight at strawweight before bringing the octagon to the Intuit Dome for two massive title bouts. The promotion also engages in a world tour early this year, holding events in Saudi Arabia, Australia, and London.
Alex Pereira was the Fighter of the Year in 2024, competing whenever called upon. Can "Poatan" continue his momentum? And will the UFC finally get to book the fight everyone has been asking for: Jon Jones vs. Tom Aspinall?

The PFL looks to hold several events this year, especially for the Bellator brand after multiple fight nights were nixed in 2024. Will we see Patricio Freire in the SmartCage, or will he get his wish and enter the octagon? Meanwhile, international superstars Dakota Ditcheva and Cedric Doumbe look to continue to impress under the PFL banner.
What about the absent Conor McGregor and Francis Ngannou, the latter looking to dominate two sports? Jake Paul is also rumored to compete for the PFL in 2025. Can "The Problem Child" succeed in a cage after a run in the ring?
