Garrett Wilson likely scored the "Catch of the Year" title in the Jets' "Thursday Night Football" clash with the Texans.

Then, he did it again.

New York's wideout had already pulled off one of the more impressive grabs of the campaign in the third quarter, ripping Aaron Rodgers' deft effort out of the sky while evading Jalen Pitre's watchful gaze.

Two minutes into the fourth quarter, he added to his dramatics, taking place in the Pantheon of elite NFL grabs alongside Odell Beckham Jr., Justin Jefferson, and a handful of other gifted acrobats.

Garrett Wilson one-handed catch

Facing third-and-long, Rodgers and the Jets, down 10-7, had no real desire to sulk off the field for the kicking unit. So, Rodgers flicked a pass toward Wilson's back shoulder, hoping his budding protege could deliver — just as he did in the third.

Wilson burst into life as the ball hurtled toward him. Shifting his feet like a gymnast preparing for vault, Wilson leapt, stretched his trusty right hand, and collected the unruly pass.

The play was initially ruled an incompletion, but replay review exonerated Wilson, revealing that as he dismounted, he (somehow) brushed his shin across the end zone before falling out of play.

After the game, Aaron Rodgers called the moment a "game-changing" play, as it turned the momentum of the game for good.

"Yeah I didn't do a whole lot when it comes down to it, I just lobbed one up there and he made an unbelievable catch," Rodgers said.

While everyone was praising Wilson postgame, the wide receiver downplayed it by saying he was just trying to make a play.

Odell Beckham Jr. catch

The catch immediately drew comparisons to Beckham's famous grab in the same stadium some 10 years back.

It's easy to see why. Both occurred on primetime, although "Sunday Night Football" has a little more luster than Prime Video's offering at the moment.

Speaking of each contest's broadcasts, both Wilson and Beckham's catches were soundtracked by the same voice: Al Michaels was on the call for NBC when Beckham leapt to the heavens to bring down Eli Manning's heave against the Cowboys. He served in the same role during Wilson's snag, albeit he was accompanied with Kirk Herbstreit, not Cris Collinsworth.

Beckham had to overcome defensive pass interference to snatch Manning's viper. But Wilson's catch was likely more consequential; his marker, Kamari Lassiter, would've had an interception otherwise. Not to mention Wilson made his catch in the fourth quarter. Beckham's catch came in the beginning of the second.

Even Jets head coach Jeff Ulbrich thinks this catch rivals Beckham's.

"It would rival the Odell catch, it was amazing," he said.

So, whose catch wins out? It's anyone's guess, really. Regardless, expect Wilson's catch to receive the Beckham treatment in the months and years to come. You can't say it doesn't deserve it.
