Knicks free agent reaction: Josh Hart responds to every move, from Mikal Bridges trade, O.G. Anunoby news and more image

The Knicks have been as active as any team in 2024 NBA free agency as they look to maximize their championship window.

New York made one of the biggest splashes of the offseason when it traded for star forward Mikal Bridges, reuniting the former Villanova product with his college teammates, Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart and Donte DiVincenzo on the "Nova Knicks."

The Knicks front office didn't stop there, signing O.G. Anunoby to a massive five-year contract extension to retain another elite two-way forward. Those two transactions made it increasingly difficult to bring back starting center Isaiah Hartenstein, who ended up landing a three-year, $87 million deal with the Thunder.

As all of these moves transpired, Knicks' goofball (err, forward) Hart narrated New York's entire offseason from his X account.

Here's how the Knicks' transformative free agency period played out through the eyes of Hart.

Josh Hart narrates Knicks' offseason on social media

As you would expect, Hart was ecstatic when he found out New York pulled off a trade to land Bridges and secure the last Infinity Stone to complete the Nova Knicks.

"YO WE F—ING LIT," Hart tweeted.

After shrugging off Heat star Bam Adebayo's accusation of tampering, the four Villanova national champions linked up on FaceTime to celebrate the moment.

The next day, Hart congratulated "Money Man" Anunoby on his five-year, $212.5 million deal, calling him and Bridges, "Demons on the wings."

On the first day of free agency, Hart was just like the rest of NBA fans who were hoping for some big-time action at the 6 p.m. ET shotgun start. Now that tampering is more strictly enforced, newsbreakers didn't have any blockbuster signings in the opening moments as they had in the past.

One day later, Hart had a playfully hilarious reaction to his former teammate, Hartenstein, securing a bag from the Thunder.

If you're a Knicks fan, no need to constantly refresh your feeds for the latest information. Just turn Hart's tweet notifications on and his commentary will guide you through the offseason.
