Arsenal host Paris Saint-Germain in a heavyweight clash on matchday two of the new-look UEFA Champions League.

Both clubs made tentative starts to the league phase, with Arsenal indebted to David Raya's penalty save to preserve a 0-0 scoreline at Atalanta.

PSG looked like they were about to play out a similar stalemate at home to Girona before a 90th-minute own goal from Paulo Gazzaniga settled the game in favour of Luis Enrique's side.

Arsenal vs. PSG lineups, predicted starting 11, team news

Riccardo Calafiori was a doubt for Arsenal after he appeared to suffer a hamstring injury during Saturday's dramatic 4-2 win over Leicester City but the Italy defender trained without any problems on Monday.

Ben White (groin) sat out the session and is a doubt for the PSG game. Mikel Merino is back in training following his shoulder injury but is not yet ready to feature.

Mikel Arteta could stick with an unchanged side from the weekend, when Leandro Trossard returned from his domestic suspension to be the two-goal hero. Captain Martin Odegaard (ankle), Kieran Tierney (hamstring) and Oleksandr Zinchenko (calf) remain on the sidelines.

Arsenal predicted XI (4-3-3, right to left): Raya (GK) — Timber, Gabriel, Saliba, Calafiori — Havertz, Partey, Rice — Saka, Trossard, Martinelli

Injured: Odegaard, Tierney, White, Zinchenko, Merino
Suspended: None

Luis Enrique has left Ousmane Dembele back in Paris after the winger clashed with his coach after the 3-1 weekend win over Rennes. Dembele's absence should give Randal Kolo Muani and Lee Kang-in the chance to atone for their wasteful showings against Girona.

No.1 Gianluigi Donnarumma will start in goal after shaking off a knock. Goncalo Ramos (ankle), Lucas Hernandez (knee) and Presnel Kimpembe (Achilles) are long-term absentees.

PSG predicted XI (4-3-3, right to left): Donnarumma (GK)

Injured: Ramos, Hernandez, Kimpembe
Suspended: None
