Klay Thompson played the worst game of his Warriors career just about a year ago.
The all-time great put up 10 shots against the Sacramento Kings in the 2024 9 vs. 10 play-in tournament game.
Six of those shots were from beyond the arc.
None of them, from anywhere, went in. Thompson was shut out, and Golden State lost by 24.
Fast forward a year, and everything was different for Thompson in the very same game on the very same court.
This time, Thompson delivered a vintage performance as the Mavericks cruised past the Kings, 120-106.
The legend finished with 23 points on 8-of-11 shooting, including 5-for-7 from 3-point range.
"It did feel good to exorcise those demons in here," Thompson told ESPN's Scott Van Pelt on SportsCenter after the game.

Thompson had a scoreless first quarter, then got an incredible bounce on a shooter's roll to start the second and open his account.
"That kind of lifted the lid off the rim for me," Thompson said.
Thompson's performance, along with 27 points from Anthony Davis, pushed Dallas into the next round of the play-in tournament.
The Mavericks will play in Memphis on Friday for the West's No. 8 seed and a chance to take on top-seed Oklahoma City in the first round.
"I'm still alive. I'm excited," Thompson said. "I get to go to Memphis. It was really fun tonight because you could just be fully immersed in the experience, and we've had a tumultuous season, to say the least. The injury bug has struck us like I've never seen before, but we're still here playing postseason basketball."
