Bottom club Southampton's visit to Tottenham might come at a very handy time for under-fire boss Ange Postecoglou.
Relations between Postecoglou and the Spurs fanbase deteriorated further during Thursday's 1-0 derby defeat at Chelsea.
That result left them languishing in 14th position and without a win in four Premier League matches, something that must surely change against bottom club Southampton.
Ivan Juric's doomed side were on the verge of a rare win against Crystal Palace last time out before Matheus Franca equalised in stoppage time. Their relegation could be confirmed this weekend.

Tottenham vs. Southampton lineups, confirmed starting 11, team news
Postecoglou had a positive update on Micky van de Ven after the influential yet injury-prone centre-back pulled up towards the end of the Chelsea game.
"Micky cramped up, obviously he hadn't played 90 minutes for a while," said Postecoglou, who is expected to rotate with the Europa League quarterfinal against Eintracht Frankfurt on the horizon. "The positive thing is that he felt really good apart from the cramping up. It was a tough game defensively, we had to work hard."
Van de Ven is on the bench as his manager makes three changes from the team that lost at Stamford Bridge. Ben Davies takes the Dutchman's place, with Pedro Porro and Brennan Johnson in for Destiny Udogie and Wilson Odobert respectively.
Tottenham lineup (4-3-3, right to left): Vicario (GK) — Porro, Romero, Davies, Spence — Bergvall, Bentancur, Maddison — Johnson, Solanke, Son

Injured: Van de Ven (cramp, doubt), Richarlison (calf, doubt), Kulusevski (foot), Danso (hamstring), Dragusin (ACL)
Suspended: None

In-form Southampton striker Paul Onuachu netted for a second consecutive Premier League game when he opened the scoring against Crystal Palace, but is only fit enough for a place on the bench after sustaining a knock to his ankle against the Eagles.
By contrast, Ryan Manning and Lesley Ugochukwu are ready to go again after being forced off last time out.
Will Smallbone is back on the bench following a groin injury, although fellow midfielder Flynn Downes will begin a two-game suspension after collecting his 10th booking of the season.
Southampton lineup (3-4-2-1, right to left): Ramsdale (GK) — Harwood-Bellis, Bednarek, Aribo — Walker-Peters, Fernandes, Ugochukwu, Manning — Dibling, Sulemana— Archer.
