Andre Iguodala won four NBA championships and was the 2015 NBA Finals MVP for the Golden State Warriors.
Turns out, he had pretty good genes.
His son, Andre Iguodala II, is set to be a Division I basketball player.
Andre II committed to Baylor on Friday night, according to On3.
Baylor, the 2021 national champs, gets a huge pickup late in the game for the Class of 2025.
Andre II was recruited by Arizona (where his father played), Cal and Ohio State, and had a confirmed offer from Northern Arizona.

The younger Iguodala is rated a three-star prospect and the No. 197 overall recruit in his class. He attended Link Academy in Missouri.
Andre II shared his reasoning for picking Baylor with On3.
“The staff and the opportunity to develop and improve were big reasons why I committed,” he said. “They showed me a lot of support and love and looked like a true family on my official visit to campus.”

Despite his last name, Andre Iguodala II was a late-rising prospect in his class.
But if he's anything like his dad, Baylor just got a steal.
The Bears, coached by Scott Drew, went 20-15 this past season, including 10-10 in Big 12 play. This could be the next step to getting back into national contention.
