Let's examine 2024 NFL season win totals at BetMGM with an eye on finding some winning plays.

2024 NFL season win totals at BetMGM

Coming off back-to-back Super Bowl titles, the Kansas City Chiefs have the highest season win total, along with the Ravens and 49ers, at 11.5. Here's the list of teams with the biggest season win totals at BetMGM:

  • Chiefs 11.5
  • Ravens 11.5
  • 49ers 11.5
  • Eagles 10.5
  • Bills 10.5
  • Bengals 10.5
  • Cowboys 10.5
  • Lions 10.5

Chiefs (11.5 wins -- OVER: -120, UNDER: +100)

One lesson learned from last season? Be careful when it comes to betting against Patrick Mahomes. Kansas City became the first team to win back-to-back Super Bowls since the Patriots in 2004-05.

That said, the Chiefs failed to go OVER this number last year with a record of 11-6. Kansas City made a splash this week by signing former rugby star Louis Rees-Zammit.

The winger from Wales is expected to see action at running back and wide receiver. Zammit joins an already loaded offense featuring Travis Kelce, Rashee Rice, Isaiah Pacheco and the newly-added Marquise "Hollywood" Brown.

But Kansas City's much-improved defense is the reason we're leaning OVER here.

Lowest NFL season win totals at BetMGM:

  • Cardinals 6.5
  • Vikings 6.5
  • Raiders 6.5
  • Giants 6.5
  • Titans 6.5
  • Commanders 6.5
  • Patriots 5.5
  • Broncos 5.5
  • Panthers 4.5

Panthers (4.5 wins -- OVER: -110, UNDER -110)

We go from the top (Chiefs) to the bottom (Panthers) here in search of another potential winning ticket. Carolina imploded last season in QB Bryce Young's rookie campaign.

The front office failed to add anyone of note other than veteran wide receiver Adam Theilen, who played about as well as any Panther last year. That's not saying much.

There is some hope with new head coach Dave Canales, who worked wonders with Baker Mayfield in Tampa Bay. New general manager and former Carolina linebacker Dan Morgan should also be an upgrade.

The Panthers traded their best player in edge rusher Brian Burns to the Giants, and subsequently added Jadeveon Clowney from Baltimore. On offense, the team's most notable addition is former Pittsburgh WR Diontae Johnson. That at least gives Young a decent weapon in the receiving corps.

We're still leaning UNDER on a Carolina team that needs to find its footing under a first-year coach.
