While the Bills are among the AFC's elite, they still haven't been able to get over the hump to win a conference title.
For Buffalo, the NFL Draft is an opportunity to add more talent and address needs to remain atop the conference and win the AFC East for a sixth consecutive year. They'll have plenty of picks to do so, too.
General manager Brandon Beane and head coach Sean McDermott have long been in lockstep about talent acquisition, and this year's draft should be another example of that pairing.

Bills NFL Draft needs
- Pass rush: Expect Buffalo to try to bolster its pass rush with young talent, meaning it will look to try and add an edge rusher with one of its first picks in this year's draft. There are plenty of NFL-ready pass-rushers to be had in the late first and second rounds.
- Secondary: Whether it's at corner, safety, or both, expect Buffalo to make additions to its secondary to further execute its coverage scheme. Don't be surprised if the Bills use multiple picks to address those needs.
- Receiving: When a team has a talented playmaker like Josh Allen under center, bolstering his receiving corps is always a great option. A mid-round pick could be used to replace the departure of some of Allen's most sure-handed targets.
