Hallmark Channel's passion for holiday films shines through every time temperatures drop. In 2024, that passion brings the broadcast company to Kansas City and its most prominent sports franchise, the Chiefs.
"Holiday Touchdown" is the latest contribution to the universe of Hallmark holiday flicks, following in the footsteps of such epics as "Santa Tell Me," "Looks Like Christmas," and "Mr. Miracle."
The film centers around a pair of hopeless romantics bound by their love for the Chiefs. Although the cast is largely unknown, there are a pair of Kansas City icons expected to show off their acting talents in the picture.
With that, here's a look at the "Holiday Touchdown" cast, including Donna Kelce and Andy Reid.

Meet the 'Holiday Touchdown' cast
Hunter King
King returns to the silver screen, playing Alana Higman, a charming Chiefs superfan whose family's "lucky Christmas hat" tradition propels Kansas City to Super Bowls galore. King has enlisted her acting chops to a series of productions, including "Hollywood Heights," "Life in Pieces," and "The Young and the Restless," the latter of which she received two Daytime Emmy nods for.
Tyler Hynes
Hynes, a Toronto native, transforms into Derrick, Kansas City's director of fan engagement and Higman's love interest. Hijinks ensue as the budding romance between the pairing takes shape, soundtracked by the hymns of a raucous Arrowhead Stadium crowd.
Hynes is an acting veteran in his own right, having starred in a handful of projects over the past decade or so. He most recently turned out for Hallmark in 2022 when he played Taylor in the Canadian Chrismas comedy, "Three WiseMen and a Baby."
Ed Begley Jr.
Begley is the film's most decorated figure — outside of Andy Reid, of course — capturing six Prime Time Emmy nominations and a Golden Globe nomination for his performance in the 1980s classic, "St. Elsewhere." He has nearly 60 years of acting experience and figures to offer legitimacy to the film's release.
Mary Beth McDonough
Much like Begley, McDonough has been involved in the film industry for decades. She got her start as a child actor, portraying Erin Walton in the CBS program "The Waltons" from 1972-81. She's also made cameo appearances in "General Hospital," "The Love Boat," "ER," "Ally McBeal," and "Will & Grace," among other programs.
Jenna Bush Hager
Hager is a news personality, author, and journalist. Daughter of former president George W. Bush, Hager plays a reporter in the film. She currently co-hosts "Today with Hoda & Jenna" alongside "Today" anchor Hoda Kotb.
Donna Kelce
Kelce is one of the NFL's most prominent mothers, having raced into the public consciousness over the past few years as Jason and Travis Kelce became household names. Her popularity has continued to soar, with her relationship with Taylor Swift — Travis' girlfriend — drawing additional interest. She makes a cameo appearance in Hallmark's latest holiday special.
Andy Reid
Reid has a closet filled with accolades, from three Super Bowl rings to a Coach of the Year title in 2002. He can now add Hallmark Channel star to his list: the 66-year-old coach has a small role in the movie, appearing as himself, just as one would expect.

Are any Chiefs players in 'Holiday Touchdown'?
Kelce and Reid aren't the only Chiefs-affiliated talents to appear in "Holiday Touchdown." So too are Trey Smith, Mecole Hardman Jr., Clyde Edwards-Helaire and George Karlaftis.
Interestingly, Travis Kelce will not be picking up a script. Viewers shouldn't be too alarmed, though; there's ample star power to fill his void.
