The Houston Texans will likely be missing one of their best playmakers throughout the 2025 season.
Tank Dell suffered a nasty knee injury late in the 2024 campaign.
And on Sunday, the Houston Chronicle's Jonathan Alexander revealed the outlook for Dell.
Here's what Alexander wrote:
"Dell will more than likely miss the 2025 season and be placed on the physically unable to perform list, given the nature of his knee injury and the timing of his ACL surgery, which took place just two months ago. The timetable for ACL injuries is typically six to 12 months. Dell also dislocated his knee, tore other ligaments and damaged his meniscus."
The Texans drafted two receivers from Iowa State, Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel, who should both make the team.
They also added Christian Kirk and Justin Watson as established veterans in free agency after Stefon Diggs' departure to New England.

With Nico Collins leading the way, it's likely a plenty deep receiving corps for C.J. Stroud.
It still stinks to miss out on Dell, who was emerging into one of the league's most exciting undersized receivers.
At this point, Houston fans have to just be hoping Dell can return to full health down the road and eventually get back on the field.
In the meantime, Dell will have to watch a bunch of new faces join Collins to try to maximize the third year of the Stroud era for the Texans.
