Cody Bellinger notoriously goes off on 4/20…. Again and again and again.
For the third-straight year, Belllinger has homered on 4/20. That’s unreal stuff from the former Dodgers,now Yankees star who, well, has made some meme-worthy faces in the past that make him look like he's celebrating 4/20.
What’s better than Sunday’s blast is that Bellinger’s 2023 homer on 4/20 went exactly 420 feet.
Fans on X formerly known as twitter certainly poked fun at Balleinger’s remarkable accomplishment as well.
“Cody Bellinger has hit 3 consecutive 4/20 home runs and will be known as Mr.April/Mr.420 from hence forth” one user wrote.
“Cody Bellinger has hit a home run on 4/20 for the third straight season. He’s never beating the allegations,” another account wrote.
It’s all fun and games for Bellinger, who obviously is not playing games while under the influence. But his abilities on 4/20 are certainly a hilarious, impressive stat for those who have kept track over time.

Bellinger’s contract, which had two years and $52.5 million remaining before this season, was traded to the Yankees in the offseason for right-handed pitcher Cody Poteet.
"He’s someone that wants to be here,” General Manager Brian Cashman said to Bryan Hoch of MLB.com after the trade. “I've been hearing it for a long time, including his agent Scott Boras saying, ‘Can you get him over here? He's driving me crazy. He wants to be a Yankee.’ That’s not why I did it; ultimately, I did it because it’s a fit.”
