Plenty of questions remain in Colorado's 2024 season, including whether or not the Buffaloes can claim a College Football Playoff spot and if two-way star Travis Hunter can snag this year's Heisman Trophy.
Arguably the flashiest team in college football will be back on the field in Week 13, as No. 16 Colorado (8-2) is due for a road matchup against Kansas (4-6). Deion Sanders' squad comes into Saturday's game as one of the country's best over recent weeks; since an Oct. 12 loss to Kansas State, the Buffaloes have ripped off four consecutive wins.
Coming off consecutive 40-plus point games, Colorado is firing on all cylinders at the best possible time — and the more Sanders' squad wins, the more intriguing its path to a Big 12 Championship appearance, or even a CFP game, becomes.
Quarterback Shedeur Sanders (3,222 passing yards, 27 passing touchdowns, seven interceptions) has already cemented his status as one of the NFL's top quarterback prospects, while Hunter (911 receiving yards, 10 total touchdowns, eight passes defended, three interceptions) may be the most dynamic player in the sport right now, making highlight-reel plays week in and out.
Coach Prime has made Colorado football games a must-watch experience, and now, the Buffaloes will be challenged with a Jayhawks team coming in red-hot following back-to-back wins over ranked opponents.
Kansas beat then-No. 17 Iowa State 45-36, following that matchup by taking down then-No. 6 BYU 17-13 last week. Facing yet another ranked opponent in Colorado, quarterback Jalon Daniels (1,985 passing yards, 13 passing touchdowns, 10 interceptions) and running back Devin Neal (926 rushing yards, 12 touchdowns) will be looking to keep the unranked Jayhawks' impressive run going.

Halftime: Kansas 23, Colorado 14
5:18 p.m. — Sanders takes a knee, sending this game to halftime. Kansas has owned the ground game and the time of possession battle, but because the Buffaloes have held the Jayhawks to a few field goals, this is a game still within Colorado's reach.
Kansas 23, Colorado 14
5:15 p.m. FIELD GOAL — Allen knocks another field goal through, all three of his kicks coming within 25 yards in the first half. Kansas owns a nine-point lead, but it could be way more if it had capitalized on some other red zone opportunities.

5:06 p.m. — Kansas' run game keeps chugging along, as Daniels breaks free for a 31-yard play using his feet. Between Daniels, Neal, Morrison and Grimm, Kansas has nearly 200 rushing yards in the first half.
Kansas 20, Colorado 14
5:00 p.m. TOUCHDOWN — Sanders goes to Miller again, this time in the middle of the field as the receiver makes a nice grab over his defender in the end zone. Colorado pulls within six points before the break.

4:49 p.m. FIELD GOAL — Daniels' pass to Neal on third down fell incomplete, so Kansas takes three points instead. Colorado has just under four minutes to work with before halftime.
4:47 p.m. — The Jayhawks' offense just won't let up, with Neal now ripping off a 47-yard run to set up 1st & Goal.
4:45 p.m. — Morrison runs for 15 yards as Kansas looks to answer the quick strike from Hunter and the Buffaloes.
Kansas 17, Colorado 7
4:39 p.m. TOUCHDOWN — And there's Colorado's response. Of course, it comes from Hunter, who gets a short pass from Sanders, finds a lane and sprints to the end zone. It's a 51-yard touchdown for the Buffaloes, who now have something to work with after a slow start.
